Water transmission from newly constructed Doosti Dam on Iran-Turkmenistan border was defined in year 2007 as one of the major projects in Iran, providing drinking water for more than two millions people in the city of Mashhad. The project included 190 Km of 2000 mm dia. pipeline, six 400 m3 surge tanks and five pump stations of 6000 Lit/s capacity. Shimbar as the EPC contractor successfully completed the project in 2010 and has been awarded several local and national rewards for the quality and integrity of its work
